Indications

Areas of application and target groups

Lipomedical post-op disposable garments can be used in many areas of plastic and plastic and aesthetic surgery as well as general surgery with a high volume of exudate. It was originally designed for liposuction, but has quickly established itself as a universal solution for safe post-operative transportation.

Areas of application

After liposuction (liposuction)

Ideally suited for procedures on the abdomen, hips, thighs, arms, back or buttocks, the garment also provides a valuable service in combined procedures such as liposuction with subsequent fat grafting by absorbing wound secretions.

Plastic-aesthetic operations with high wound secretion

For example, after major breast surgery (breast reduction or augmentation) or tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), where increased fluid leakage is also to be expected in the early phase.

Postoperative transportation

For the safe transportation of patients home directly after surgery. The disposable garments protect hospital beds, wheelchairs, private clothing and vehicle seats from contamination. Patients can be wrapped in these garments immediately after the operation and no longer need to change until they get home.

Clinic post-op sets

Many clinics integrate our disposable clothing as an integral part of a high-quality discharge kit. Together with dressing material and possibly an information package, the patient receives the clothing as part of the aftercare equipment. In this way, you demonstrate professionalism and care beyond the operating theater.

Lipomedical post-op garments are always suitable when wound fluid is to be safely collected and the patient needs to be covered quickly, hygienically and comfortably. It is particularly useful for outpatient operations, as the patient can leave the hospital immediately after the procedure without compromising their normal clothing.

There is also no need for time-consuming cleaning of soiled bed linen or surgical clothing.

Patients with a high risk of exudation

Although patients do not usually buy this product themselves, they are the indirect target group who feel the benefits. Patients who are prone to heavy wound secretion in particular feel safer and better cared for with disposable clothing. They experience the hospital stay and the journey home as less stressful and unpleasant.

This wide range of applications and versatile target groups allow our product to unfold its full benefits: It makes the day-to-day work of professionals easier and at the same time improves the post-operative experience of patients.

Note

The Lipomedical disposable garment is intended as a supplement to conventional therapy. For example, it can be used in the immediate postoperative phase in addition in addition to compression garments to be applied later. As soon as the acute drainage phase has subsided, the patient can switch to permanent compression garments as usual. Until then, our disposable garments guarantee cleanliness and hygiene.
