The Lipomedical post-op disposable garment is a specially developed disposable medical set consisting of a top and trousers. It serves as protective post-operative clothing for patients after liposuction and other plastic surgery procedures. Put on immediately after the operation, the garment offers hygienic hygienic, safe and comfortable protection during during patient transportation from the operating theatre to the clinic or home and during the early recovery phase.
Our product was designed in Switzerland and tested for practical suitability in close cooperation with plastic surgeons and nursing staff. It is a certified certified class I medical device (sterile) in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745, developed under a TÜV-certified quality management system in accordance with EN ISO 13485. This means the highest quality and safety standards for your clinic and your patients.
The Lipomedical disposable garment is available in four sizes (S, M, L, XL for both trousers and top) so that all common body shapes are covered. The cut is deliberately loose and has elasticated cuffs to fit the patient without constricting anywhere. The clothing is available in elegant black black — discreet, stylish and not see-throughwhich further enhances the patient’s well-being. Each size is individually individually sterile packed and is ready for immediate use without the need for preparation or washing.
Sterile packed: Each set (top + trousers) is sterile and individually packaged for immediate use without further preparation.
Elasticated cuffs & adaptive cut: Ensures a customized fit and quick, easy dressing. Nothing needs to be cut or laboriously adjusted.
Practical front zipper: The top has a full-length front zipper that enables gentle application without exerting pressure on fresh surgical wounds or drained areas.
Absorbent inner layer: Highly absorbent material on the inside reliably absorbs escaping wound secretions and keeps them away from the patient.
Continuous PE barrier: Integrated liquid-impermeable film membrane effectively prevents wound fluids from seeping through to the outside. This keeps dressings, beds and means of transportation clean.
Breathable fleece: The outer layer of special polypropylene spunbond (35 GSM) is permeable to air and prevents heat build-up — the patient does not feel “packed” or overheated.
Our product is based on a two-layer high-tech material structure made of modern nonwovens, which offers optimum protective properties:
Outer layer: Consists of 35 GSM polypropylene spunbond fleece. This material is lightweight, tear-resistant and breathable to prevent heat build-up. It offers mechanical structural stability and initial protection against liquids.
Inner layer (absorption core): Consists of a multi-layered, laminated absorbent fleece (110 GSM), which is manufactured using meltblown and SMS technology. This layer can absorb large quantities of wound exudate. An integrated PE film barrier on the underside prevents liquid from penetrating.
Skin-friendly components: Both layers are latex-free and hypoallergenic. The soft non-woven material lies comfortably on the skin without causing friction or pressure points on the surgical areas. No irritation occurs even on sensitive skin.
Breathable polypropylene spunbond layer — ensures a pleasant feel against the skin and mechanical strength.
Soft barrier layer: increases the comfort layer and protects against abrasion.
Melt-blown filter — ultra-fine fibers for outstanding particle separation.
SMS composite (spunbond-meltblown-spunbond) — combines filter performance with additional tear resistance.
Polyethylene film barrier: 100 % liquid-tight, protects against moisture penetration.
All materials used meet strict medical requirements and are certified according to current standards. The Lipomedical post-op garment is a CE-compliant medical device (Class I sterile) and has been extensively tested for biocompatibility and performance.
